Strength Testing with Dynamometer

DYNAMOMETER TESTING

Understanding your strength is key to recovering the right way. At Physioqinesis, we use advanced dynamometer testing to objectively measure muscle strength, removing guesswork and ensuring precise, data-driven decisions throughout your rehabilitation or training.

This allows us to accurately assess muscle performance, identify imbalances between sides, and understand how your body is truly functioning. Instead of relying on estimates, we track real numbers that guide your progress and progression.

With regular testing, we can:

  • Monitor improvements over time
  • Detect hidden weaknesses or asymmetries
  • Adjust your program based on measurable progress
  • Ensure you are building strength safely and effectively

This objective approach not only enhances recovery but also plays a crucial role in injury prevention and return-to-sport readiness.

Because better data leads to better decisions and better outcomes.

RETURN TO SPORT TESTING

Getting back to sport isn’t just about feeling ready , it’s about being ready. Our return-to-sport testing assesses your strength, control, and movement quality to ensure you can safely perform at your best, with confidence and reduced risk of re-injury.

When is Return-to-Sport Testing Done?

Return-to-sport testing is done in the final stage of rehabilitation, when you are close to getting back to your sport but need to ensure your body is truly ready.

It is usually performed when you: Have little to no pain during movement Have regained good flexibility and joint movement Have built enough strength compared to the uninjured side Can perform basic activities like running, jumping, or changing direction comfortably This testing helps us understand whether your body can safely handle the demands of your sport. Even if you feel ready, there can still be hidden weaknesses or imbalances.

By assessing your strength, movement quality, balance, and control, we can:

  •  Identify any remaining gaps
  • Reduce the risk of re-injury
  • Confidently guide your return to sport

Because returning to sport is not just about feeling better, it’s about being fully ready to perform safely and effectively.
